Kwang Hyun Kim could shift to rotation

Cardinals manager Mike Shildt told reporters that pitcher Kwang Hyun Kim could shift into the rotation. He is a candidate to take Jack Flaherty's place in the rotation on Sunday. (Jeff Jones on Twitter)

Kim just returned from a two-week stint on the injured list due to elbow inflammation. He started his first 19 games of the season but threw 2.2 innings out of the bullpen in his first game back post-injury on Tuesday. Through 20 outings, the southpaw is 6-6 with a 3.27 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and .227 OBA. He has also walked 33 batters while striking out 72.
