The Mariners have selected prep catcher Harry Ford with the 12th overall pick in the 2021 MLB Draft.
Fantasy Impact:
Ford is a defensive wizard who is a lock to stick behind the plate long-term. While he is certainly a defense-first prospect, he has shown flashes of potential offensively, too. He has also shown out on the basepaths, clocking a 6.42 60-yard dash time recently.
