Tony Watson cut loose by Phillies

The Phillies have released reliever Tony Watson. He was in camp on a minor league deal but didn't pitch well enough to earn a spot on the Opening Day roster. (Todd Zolecki on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The former All-Star owns an impressive 2.80 ERA over 627 career outings and has long been a reliable option out of the bullpen. However, he struggled in limited camp action, allowing four earned runs over five innings. Nevertheless, he should command interest in the open market.
