Alexander Canario undergoes surgery to repair torn labrum in shoulder

Alexander Canario, who is one of the Giants top prospects, underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum after he dislocated his shoulder in the instructional league in Arizona. (Andrew Baggarly on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This was a major surgery for the young prospect and will delay his start to the 2021 season. The 20-year old still has a bright future with the Giants after slashing .318/.377/.623 with 20 doubles, 16 home runs, and 54 RBI across 236 at-bats between two teams in the low minors back in 2019.
