Dansby Swanson underwent successful core surgery in early October. He is expected to make a full recovery in time for Spring Trainig. (Taylor McGregor on X)
Fantasy Impact:
It's unclear when the injury occured, but the 30-year-old shortstop underwent the procedure shortly after the end of the Cubs' season. He had a strong end to the season, hitting .303 with a .856 OPS in September, so the injury certainly didn't slow him down much. He should be good to go for the start of the 2025 season.
