The Miami Marlins declined the team option on their star reliever Brandon Kintzler. The righty boasted a 2.22 ERA through 24.1 innings pitched in 2020. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Marlins have been open about their appreciation for Kintzler, so it is in no way out of the picture that they re-sign him at a cheaper price. The veteran reliever has been consistent over the past two years, so he may go elsewhere for a better price.
