Yankees pitcher Andrew Bailey returned to the mound in the Major League's for the first time since July 12, 2013 after undergoing shoulder surgery. Bailey pitched one inning, allowing three hits and an unearned run. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Andrew Bailey said he felt great and was excited to be back on the mound following his shoulder surgery. Bailey was lights out in 2009 and 2010 before injuries derailed his career. While he is a long shot at this point to make the 25-man roster considering the depth of the Yankees in the bullpen, Bailey is a feel good story. He won't have much fantasy value unless he returns to the dominant late inning pitcher he once was.
