Kristian Robinson doesn't have to be in player pool to work out with team

Diamondbacks GM Mike Hazen told reporters that top prospect Kristian Robinson doesn't have to be on the 60-man player pool in order to work out with the team this summer. (Nick Piecoro on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It was initially a surprise to see that Robinson, arguably the team's top prospect, wasn't included. However, Hazen says that since Robinson wasn't able to return to his home in the Bahamas during the shutdown, that he can still work out at Salt River Fields. We likely won't see the 19-year-old in the majors this year but Arizona wanted to continue developing the young outfielder.
