Detroit Tigers left-hander Ryan Carpenter was great in a 9-6 win over the Rays on Tuesday. Carpenter held Tampa Bay to two runs over seven innings while striking out two.
Fantasy Impact:
Overall, Carpenter has not pitched well this season but he has started to turn the corner of late. He has a 6.23 ERA but has allowed just five earned runs over his last three starts.
