Arodys Vizcaino blows save, earns first win Sunday
by Mike Maher | Mon, Apr 8th 7:51am EDT
Braves reliever Arodys Vizcaino blew his first save of the season on Sunday, allowing a solo home run to Curtis Granderson in the ninth inning of a one-run game. Atlanta went on to score a run in the bottom of the ninth for a walk-off victory, giving Vizcaino the win.
Fantasy Impact:
The earned run Vizcaino allowed on Sunday was his first in four appearances. He figures to share closing duties with fellow reliever A.J. Minter, though both have injury concerns and Vizcaino is not expected to be available to pitch on back-to-back days while he continues to recover from the right shoulder discomfort he experienced during spring training.
