Bud Norris released by Blue Jays

The Blue Jays released Bud Norris on Tuesday. Norris feels he is healthy and ready to go, but Toronto no longer has a free roster spot available for him, so they wanted to give him a chance to catch on elsewhere. (Shi Davidi on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Jays' decision to part ways with Norris was probably made easier by the strong early form shown by closer Ken Giles. With Norris out of the picture, Giles would appear to have significantly more job security today than he did at this time last week.
