Carson Smith (0-1) walked the first batter faced and allowed two runs on two hits while striking out one in Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
The Red Sox cruised through the first seven innings but things fell apart when Smith and fellow reliever Joe Kelly came in. Smith should have a major role this year and fantasy owners should not panic after one outing. The 28-year-old reliever should be a good source of holds and strikeouts this season.
