In a 3-2 victory over the Astros on Sunday, Jharel Cotton gave up two earned runs, four hits, three walks and struck out two batters in 6.2 innings of work while winning his six game of the year (giving him a 6-10 record).
Fantasy Impact:
Cotton (who owns a terrible 5.63 ERA in 2017) had a quality start but he's been pretty ineffective all month on the mound prior to his latest outing. Simply put, he's still not a player you want to consider in any fantasy league at the moment.
