Adalberto Mejia displays great control against the Yankees
by Zahjyee Whineglass | Tue, Jul 18th 7:04am EDT
Adalberto Mejia spun 5.1 innings, allowing just five hits and zero walks to total one earned run on Monday against New York. He also struck out four batsmen.
Fantasy Impact:
Mejia is inconsistent, to say the least. However, inconsistency screams "DFP" and if you can pick your spots correctly he can be quite useful. He's allowed just eight earned runs in his last 30.2 innings of work, and considering the strength of the Twins rotation, the 24-year old will continue to get starts. He shows solid command of his pitches as well, so expect his WHIP to experience some positive regression.
