Junior Guerra roughed up by the Reds on Tuesday evening
by JP Gale | Wed, Jun 28th 12:25am EDT
Junior Guerra allowed eight runs on eight hits and three walks over four innings of work on Tuesday evening in Cincinnati. He allowed four home runs and struck out two batters. He earned his second loss of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
After turning in three straight quality starts, Guerra turned in a rough outing for his fantasy owners on Tuesday. His ERA rose from 3.11 to 4.54 on the evening. Guerra has allowed nine home runs in his last five starts, to go along with a 16/19 K/BB rate. He's still worth a hold in deeper leagues, but he's become a much riskier play than he was a few starts ago. His next start will come against the Marlins in Miami on Sunday afternoon.
