A.J. Griffin takes a no-decision in Ranger's win Sunday
by Steve Painter | Mon, May 15th 2:05am EDT
A.J. Griffin allowed seven hits and four runs (all earned) while walking three and striking out three over five innings Sunday against Oakland. All four runs came via the home run just as Griffin was looking to build on the success of his last two outings. The Rangers' had some of their own offense to display however and came out on top, 6-4. Griffin will pitch again on Saturday against Justin Verlander and the Tigers, in Detroit.
Fantasy Impact:
Hopefully, this was just a blip on the radar because more than a few have invested liberally in him. Griffin has shown promise and will likely be fine but it will be interesting to watch his next outing.
