Quez Watkins
WR - Pittsburgh Steelers
2024 Outlook
Quez Watkins has signed with the Steelers.
Fantasy Impact
Watkins spent the first four seasons of his career with the Eagles, catching 98 combined passes in a limited role. He'll be a depth receiver for Pittsburgh.
Quez Watkins did not catch his lone target in the Eagles' 20-17 loss against the Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact
The lone target Watkins saw came on a deep ball in the end zone that was picked off by Julian Love. He remains off the fantasy radar.
The Philadelphia Eagles have activated WR Quez Watkins (hamstring) to their 53-man roster ahead of Week 12.
Fantasy Impact
The Eagles have been looking desperately for a WR3 option all season, resorting to signing Julio Jones while Watkins has dealt with a nagging hamstring that has hindered him and kept him out for the majority of the season. Watkins won't be much of a player to watch for fantasy purposes, but "Fast Batman" provides Philly with another receiving option to help when teams focus on the Eagles' outside threats, and he can threaten with his own speed. He is still questionable to play.
Philadelphia Eagles WR Quez Watkins is listed as questionable to play in Week 12 with a hamstring injury, making it unclear if he will make his return.
Fantasy Impact
Watkins' 21-day practice window was opened on Wednesday, setting him up to return to the field. He was limited all week but has a chance to return. Watkins has only played in Weeks 1, 2 and 5 as his hamstring has nagged at him all season. The Eagles have struggled to find impact at WR3 in his absence, ultimately leading to the signing of veteran WR Julio Jones. If Watkins returns, it'll provide more real football impact than in fantasy football.
Philadelphia Eagles WR Quez Watkins (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve, setting him up to miss at least a month of action.
Fantasy Impact
Hamstring injuries tend to linger over time, so some rest should be good for Watkins who has been unable to play for the last few weeks. As a result of his absence, the Eagles signed veteran WR Julio Jones as Olamide Zaccheaus struggled to establish himself as the WR3 in the offense (four catches, 74 yards in six games). Watkins has been solid for the Eagles over the last couple of seasons, and they'll be waiting for his return.
