It’s been quite the journey for Mattison, who started his career as the backup for Dalvin Cook then earned the starting job for the Vikings in 2023 before being released in 2024. His main competition for touches as of now is from Zamir White, who showed great ability at the end of 2023 while filling in for former Raider Josh Jacobs.
