Geno Smith to remain on Seahawks roster, has contract guaranteed

Geno Smith, who has $12.7 million in his contract that becomes fully-guaranteed on Friday, was informed today that he will remain on the roster through this week. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This was expected to be the case for Smith and the Seahawks. It is still possible Seattle drafts a quarterback under new coach Mike Macdonald, but Smith should remain the starter next season as they look to get back to the playoffs under a new coaching staff.
