Josh Allen says he “wasn’t good enough,” looks to grow

by Jordan Epp | Jaguars Correspondent | Tue, Jun 13th 10:38am EDT

According to Michael DiRocco of ESPN, Jacksonville Jaguars edge rusher Josh Allen said that he was critical of his film from last season and didn’t see the consistency or growth he desired. He said he will improve on it in 2023. (Michael DiRocco, ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Allen had seven sacks last season with four forced fumbles and 11 tackles for loss. With 22 QB hits, he had his best season at getting to the passer since his rookie year, but Allen wasn’t happy with the consistency. He finished the season strong, including in the playoffs, but went eight games without a single sack. Allen missed voluntary workouts to train on his own but has returned for minicamp as he enters the last season of his contract, playing on a fifth-year option.
