Former Iowa DE A.J. Epenesa, the No. 54 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, has officially signed his rookie deal with the Buffalo Bills. (Buffalo Bills on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Epenesa was projected by some to be a first-round pick in this year’s Draft, but slid all the way to No. 54. The Eagles were said to be interested in the former Hawkeye with the 53rd pick, but they instead decided to make the most controversial selection in the Draft by taking Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts. Epenesa finds himself on a good defense in Buffalo and should be able to produce right away after having a very productive collegiate career. In his three-year college career, he totaled 101 tackles, 26.5 sacks, and eight forced fumbles.
