Christian McCaffrey (RB - CAR)

Player Note on Christian McCaffrey (RB - CAR)
Did you know CMC's Week 2 performance was his worst fantasy outing in his last 16 games... he scored 24.7 points. It's truly a shame that McCaffrey will be out for multiple weeks after likely requiring a first-overall pick investment, but this isn't cause for fantasy owners to panic. McCaffrey should still be valued as a mid RB1 in terms of rest of season value with his signature unparalleled consistency and upside when he returns in time for fantasy playoff pushes. In the meantime, Hubbard can be played as a safe RB3/flex-option if necessary while Freeman is only worth a roster spot in deeper leagues.
Ty'Son Williams (RB - BAL)

Player Note on Ty'Son Williams (RB - BAL)
After the horrible sequence of events this preseason, Williams was given the start in Week 1 and made his case to keep it racking up 65 yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately, Murray (who was signed 3 days before the game) matched him in carries and had a score of his own. To confuse things even more, Bell or Freeman will likely be promoted to the active roster soon. All signs point towards this backfield being a committee with Murray/Williams as the 1a/1b. Look to sell Williams high after his Week 1 performance and as for Week 2, he makes a fine low-end RB2/flex option against a lackluster Chiefs run defense.
