Broncos coach Sean Payton said Javonte Williams is "looking good" in camp. (Source: Aric DiLalla on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Williams is approaching being two years removed from tearing his ACL. It is still an uncertainty as to what the backfield will look like with Denver this season, but Williams should be the 1A at the very least. His upside from a fantasy perspective could be a bit capped if it turns out to be a big committee with Audric Estime and/or Samaje Perine potentially being involved.

Rams OC Mike LaFleur said Puka Nacua is "moving better" and "looking more comfortable" in Rams camp. (Source: Rams Wire on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: “You can definitely see he’s made strides," LaFleur said. "He’s moving better. I know he feels more comfortable. He’s in year two and that’s what you expect from all the players, but you know that you’re going to get it from Puka because he’s just made of the right stuff. His intentions are right.” It is tough to believe Nacua can take a true step forward this season given all of his success last year as a rookie, but he should remain in a similar role on the Rams offense.

Denver Broncos rookie RB Audric Estime underwent a knee scope and "will be just fine," according to head coach Sean Payton. He is expected to return for training camp. (Source: Aric DiLalla on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Estime just underwent knee surgery to clean up an injury he suffered last week during OTAs. The Broncos start training camp in late June, and Estime will likely be ready to go by then, rehabbing in the meantime. This should not affect his rookie campaign.

Michael Pittman Jr. remained absent from practice on the field on Thursday, but he was present on the sideline. (Source: Mike Chappell on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Pittman injured his knee in practice last week and walked off the field with trainers. It is not expected to be anything too serious, but the Colts will play it safe with him. Pittman signed a three-year extension with the Colts back in March.

Andrew Beck missed practice on Thursday due to a strained left calf. (Source: Aaron Wilson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The injury is not concerned long-term for Beck. He can be considered as day-to-day.

Drew Lock emphasized to reporters his job is to help Daniel Jones as the backup. (Source: Connor Hughes on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: There had been some speculation when the Giants signed him that Lock could have an outside chance to compete for the starting job, but Jones appears to have that locked up as many would expect. Lock did step into the starting role when Geno Smith missed some time for the Seahawks last season, so Lock should be ready if needed.

Derrick Henry was not at Ravens OTAs on Thursday. (Source: Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Lamar Jackson also remains absent from practice. There is no reason to have any concern right now as we sit here in May, but it is worth monitoring.

Lamar Jackson remained absent from Ravens practice on Thursday. (Source: Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Baltimore coach John Harbaugh would not comment on the absence of Jackson other than noting that these practices remain voluntary. There is no reason to have any concern this early in camp, but it is worth monitoring.

Jelani Woods is impressing early at Colts OTAs. (Source: James Boyd on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Woods was tabbed as a "breakout performer" by Boyd. "Woods really caught my eye during that session," Boyd said in an article. "After not seeing him on the field at all last year due to his nagging hamstring injuries, I honestly forgot how big and freakishly athletic Woods is. He caught a lot of passes during team drills." Colts coach Shane Steichen also noted the "different things" you can do with Woods. He will be an intriguing flier in the double-digit rounds of fantasy drafts.

The Giants and Darius Slayton agreed to restructure his contract. (Source: Field Yates on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Slayton had been sitting out of OTAs because of his contract. He previously had $1.5 million available in incentives and he now has $2.15 million in incentives available. Slayton also has a chance to earn an extra $650,000 than his prior max compensation for 2024.

Lions RB coach Scottie Montgomery says they're hoping to see growth in Jahmyr Gibbs' route running, particularly from the slot. (Source: Jeremy Reisman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Despite not seeing his role grow till the second half of the season, Gibbs caught 52 passes on 71 targets out of the backfield last year. It is possible we see more plays with both Gibbs and David Montgomery on the field, especially if Gibbs lines up in the slot more.

The New York Giants released RB Gary Brightwell with a waived/injured designation. (Source: Jordan Raanan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The former sixth-round pick out of Arizona was considered a "long shot" to make the roster. Brightwell saw 40 combined carries the past two seasons.

Fantasy Impact: It is notable as Diggs was not present at practice last week. He joins Nico Collins and Tank Dell catching passes from CJ Stroud this season in Houston.

Giants WR Gunner Olszewski limped off the field "pretty badly" at OTAs on Thursday. (Source: Pat Leonard on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Olszewski appeared to suffer a foot or ankle injury according to Leonard. He caught one pass with the Giants last season and was likely to have a role in special teams. His status remains unclear for now.

Jaylen Waddle has signed a three-year, $84.75 million contract with $76 million in guarantees with the Miami Dolphins. (Source: Adam Schefter via X)

Fantasy Impact: This ties the young receiver to the explosive Miami offense for the long run. With Tyreek Hill contemplating retirement in the next several years, the Dolphins needed to secure their future and did so with this deal. Waddle is a hyper productive reciever when on the field, but struggled with injuries in 2023 and had his fewest targets and receptions since entering the league in 2021. He’s a high end WR2 with upside behind Hill in Miami’s offense and is a great redraft and dynasty asset for both contending and rebuilding teams.

Chiefs DL Isaiah Buggs had two misdemeanor warrants filed against him on charges of cruelty to dogs in the second degree. (Source: ESPN.com)

Fantasy Impact: Buggs was charged in Alabama where he played college football. According to court documents, the Tuscaloosa Police Department received a report that "two dogs were being left on the porch of a home rented by Buggs" and they had no access to food or water. Buggs’ agent, Trey Robinson, denied the charges. He joined the Chiefs’ practice squad in January.
