Fantasy Impact: Polanco will now miss his fifth straight contest due to a right hamstring injury. He was originally expected to make his return Friday, but is not bouncing back as quickly as the team expected. Josh Rojas will start in his place and bat leadoff.

Fantasy Impact: The injury occurred Saturday after Garcia collided with Marcus Semien. The team will send him out for an MRI, but they are hopeful that with two days off he will be available and able to avoid the injured list.


Joe Musgrove (elbow) is no longer listed as the Padres’ starter for Sunday’s game. (Source: MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact: The Padres will start Yu Darvish, who had his start pushed back after Saturday’s game was postponed. Musgrove is likely to return on Tuesday now, with Dylan Cease and Randy Vasquez listed as the probable starters on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: The next step for Miller is a three-inning simulated game. If that goes well, he could be ready to begin a rehab assignment. He will likely need to make at least a couple of rehab starts.

Fantasy Impact: Phillips is still at least a week away from returning. He was placed on the injured list earlier this month due to a hamstring strain.

Fantasy Impact: It is the third bullpen session for Kershaw since undergoing left shoulder surgery in the offseason. He is continuing to aim for a return at some point in the summer.

Fantasy Impact: Santos was not expected to miss this much time, but a couple of setbacks have left him sidelined. "It's been a long process, but I haven't put my head down," Santos said.

Fantasy Impact: It is unclear how many games Murphy will play in on his rehab assignment. He could be activated at any point next week.

Fantasy Impact: Bubic is continuing to work his way back from Tommy John surgery. He posted a 2.70 ERA in three starts with the Surprise Royals.

Fantasy Impact: Middleton is scheduled to pitch for in relief for Springfield on Sunday and on a back-to-back days on Wednesday and Thursday. If all goes well, he'll likely be activated at that point.

Fantasy Impact: Gallegos was able to complete a bullpen session on Friday. Manager Oli Marmol said Gallegos is continuing to build up his arm strength.

Fantasy Impact: It was a move made to open up a spot on the active roster by San Francisco. Hoo Lee is set to undergo season-ending surgery.

Fantasy Impact: It appears Riley could be headed for the injured list if he doesn't show signs of improving soon. He remains day-to-day for now.

Fantasy Impact: d'Arnaud will remain sidelined from the lineup on Saturday and he’s available to be used in an emergency situation the next two days.

Fantasy Impact: The Phillies will see how Walker feels after that and decide whether or not he'll make his next start, but manager Rob Thomson is optimistic. "I’m thinking he’s going to be alright," Thomson said.

Fantasy Impact: Bailey is expected to resume workouts this weekend. He remains without a clear timetable to return to the Giants lineup.


Sean Newcomb will begin a rehab assignment on Saturday with the Athletics’ Rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate.

Fantasy Impact: Newcomb opened the season on the injured list. He will likely need to make a handful of appearances on his rehab assignment.
