Yakupov scored a goal and had an assist in the Blues 3-2 home opener win versus Minnesota.
Fantasy Impact:
He only played 8:30 in the game but should get more time as he gets acclimated to the Blues system. The 2012 number one draft choice had been a bit of a dissapointment with the Oilers but could thrive in a change of scenery after being traded just four days ago. Last season in 60 games he posted eight goals and 15 assists with a minus-16 rating.
