Philadelphia Flyers C Vincent Lecavalier posted an assist in his first game of the season, but it was for naught as the Flyers were destroyed by a score of 4-1 by the New Jersey Devils. (NHL.com)

Vincent Lecavalier is old, diminished, and did not play in any of Philadelphia's first eight games. There is no reason to even keep him on the bench, unless you like wasting a roster spot.
