Brent Burns tallies 900th career point

Burns recorded an assist, four shots on goal, and two PIM in Saturday’s 4-2 loss to Los Angeles. His third-period helper on Eric Robinson’s goal marked the 900th point of his career, making him the 13th defenseman in NHL history to reach that milestone.
Fantasy Impact:
Burns snapped a seven-game point drought with this assist, but his offensive production has been underwhelming this season. With just 19 points through 53 games, he’s well off his usual pace. While he continues to log top-four minutes, his fantasy appeal has dipped outside of leagues that reward shot volume and blocked shots. Until he shows more consistency, he remains a depth option in most formats.
