Samuel Ersson allowed three goals on 29 shots faced in the Flyers' 5-3 win over the Islanders Thursday night.

Ersson continues an inconsistent stretch in goal of late, allowing three goals in three of his last six starts (5-1-0) for the Flyers. The 25-year-old continues to be the more reliable netminding option for head coach John Tortorella in the Philadelphia lineup, carrying a 2.87 GAA and .888 save percentage in 23 appearances (12-7-2, two shutouts) in the crease so far this season.
