Lane Hutson adds helper in extra-frame loss

Hutson tallied an assist and registered two shots in Montreal’s 2-1 OT loss to the Avalanche. The rookie blueliner posted a plus-one rating over 23:21 of total ice time, with nearly four minutes on the power play.
Fantasy Impact:
Hutson continues to demonstrate offensive upside from the Canadiens’ back end. Though just 19 games into his rookie year (hypothetically), he’s carving out a role as a power-play quarterback. Fantasy managers in need of blue-line scoring should keep him on the roster or watch list for his increasing workload and potential in multi-category leagues.
