Matthew Knies tallies five points in Saturday's win over Bruins

by Chris Schommer | Maple Leafs Correspondent | Sun, Jan 5th 5:32pm EST

Matthew Knies tallied five points for the Maple Leafs Saturday night, scoring three goals and adding two assists in a 6-4 win over the Bruins.

Fantasy Impact:

Knies has not been much of a factor in the offensive zone of late, notching points in just two of his last nine games (three goals, three assists) for the Maple Leafs. The winger has provided head coach Craig Berube with a gritty, two-way option in the Toronto lineup on a nightly basis, posting 24 points (14 goals, 10 assists) while also racking up 78 hits in 38 games so far this season.
