Joseph Woll solid in crease in Friday's win over Red Wings
by Chris Schommer | Maple Leafs Correspondent | Sat, Dec 28th 3:25pm EST
Joseph Woll was solid in the crease for the Maple Leafs Friday night, stopping 23 of 25 shots faced in a 5-2 win over the Red Wings.
Fantasy Impact:
Woll has struggled to keep the puck out of the back of the net of late, allowing three or more goals in four of his last five starts (2-3-0) for the Maple Leafs. The 26-year-old should continue to see an increased workload with Anthony Stolarz sidelined, carrying a .909 save percentage and 2.57 GAA in 16 appearances (10-6-0, one shutout) in goal so far this season.
