Brent Burns notched one assist in the Hurricanes' 5-3 win over the Avalanche Thursday night.
Fantasy Impact:
Burns has struggled to make an impact in the offensive zone, posting points in just three of his last 17 games (one goal, three assists) for the Hurricanes. The defenseman has not been much of a factor in either zone to this point, logging 35 blocked shots to go along with seven points (one goal, six assists) in 26 games so far this season.
