Casey DeSmith was brilliant in net for the Stars Monday night, stopping 36 of 37 shots faced in a 2-1 win over the Utah Hockey Club.
Fantasy Impact:
DeSmith has offered mixed results in his limited time guarding the crease of late, allowing four or more goals in two of his last four games (1-2-0) for the Stars. The veteran netminder remains the perfect complement to No. 1 goaltender Jake Oettinger in Dallas despite his recent stretch, posting a 2.57 GAA and .906 save percentage in eight appearances (3-4-0) between the pipes so far this season.
