Aaron Ekblad notched two assists in the Panthers' 6-3 win over the Hurricanes Friday.

Ekblad has heated up in the offensive zone of late, recording points in five of his last seven games (six assists) for the Panthers. The blueliner provides enough offense while setting the defensive tone leading the Florida blueline corps most nights, notching 12 points (12 assists) to go along with 37 hits in 24 games so far this season.
