Moritz Seider has agreed to a seven-year, $59.85 million contract extension with the Detroit Red Wings according to Chris Johnston. (Chris Johnston on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Seider is the latest member of Detroit’s young core to be extended by general Steve Yzerman, joining forward Lucas Raymond with a new contract this offseason. The versatile blueliner will make an impact on the score sheet as well as setting the physical tone when on the ice for head coach Derek Lalonde, heading the defense corps and offering plenty of minutes on the power play and penalty kill this upcoming season.
