Lucas Raymond agrees to eight-year extension with Red Wings

Lucas Raymond and the Detroit Red Wings have agreed to an eight-year, $64.6 million contract extension according to Helene St. James. (Helene St. James on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Raymond is now under contract through the 2031-32 season for the Red Wings, as the 22-year-old continues to mature as part of the Detroit core for the foreseeable future. The dynamic winger will have a significant role as part of the top-six forward group for the Red Wings as well as offer an explosive option on the power play for head coach Derek Lalonde. Raymond finished his breakout 2023-24 season with 72 points (31 goals, 41 assists) in 82 games.
