Alex Lyon struggled in net for the Red Wings Thursday night, allowing four goals on 26 shots faced in a 5-3 loss to the Islanders.

Lyon has fought consistency issues in the crease of late, allowing three or more goals in seven of his last nine starts (5-3-1) for the Red Wings. The 31-year-old will look to return to his early-season form as the No.1 netminder for a Detroit squad pushing for a return to the postseason, carrying a 2.74 GAA and .912 save percentage to go along with two shutouts in 29 appearances (18-9-2) between the pipes so far this season.
