David Perron notched one assist in the Red Wings' 5-3 loss to the Islanders Thursday night.

Perron continues a solid stretch in the offensive zone of late, registering points in four of his last seven games (one goal, four assists) for the Red Wings. The veteran winger provides head coach Derek Lalonde with a gritty, two-way forward option, posting 31 points (12 goals, 19 assists) to go along with 62 hits in 54 games so far this season.
