Alex Lyon was dominant in net for the Red Wings Thursday night, stopping 30 of 31 shots faced in a 2-1 overtime win over the Avalanche.

Lyon has struggled to keep the puck out of the back of the net of late, allowing three or more goals in five of his last six starts (3-2-1) for the Red Wings. The netminder has flashed the ability to shut down elite offenses at times, carrying a 2.75 GAA and .914 save percentage to go along with two shutouts in 26 appearances (16-8-2) between the pipes for the Red Wings so far this season.
