Ilya Samsonov steady in crease Thursday against Flyers
by Chris Schommer | Golden Knights Correspondent | Sat, Feb 17th 4:43pm EST
Ilya Samsonov was steady in net for the Maple Leafs Thursday night, stopping 29 of 32 shots faced in a 4-3 overtime win over the Flyers.
Fantasy Impact:
Samsonov has benefited from playing behind a strong offensive of late, allowing three or more goals in three of his last four starts (3-1-0) for the Maple Leafs. The netminder continues as an inconsistent lineup option for fantasy managers as the 26-year-old continues to rebuild his confidence between the pipes, posting a 3.25 GAA and .881 save percentage to go along with two shutouts in 23 starts (11-4-6) in the crease so far this season.
