Ilya Samsonov solid in net Tuesday against Blues
by Chris Schommer | Golden Knights Correspondent | Thu, Feb 15th 6:38pm EST
Ilya Samsonov was solid in net for the Maple Leafs Tuesday night, stopping 14 of 15 shots faced in a 4-1 win over the Blues.
Fantasy Impact:
Samsonov has been mostly reliable in the crease of late, allowing less than three goals in four of his last six starts (5-1-0) for the Maple Leafs. The netminder will look to continue his steady performance in net after a disastrous start to the season for head coach Sheldon Keefe, posting an .880 save percentage and 3.26 GAA to go along with two shutouts in 22 appearances (10-4-6) between the pipes so far this season.
