Casey DeSmith struggled in net for the Canucks Saturday, allowing four goals on 28 shots faced in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
DeSmith has struggled in limited action in the crease of late, allowing three or more goals in four of his last five starts (1-1-3) for the Canucks. The veteran netminder has fought consistency issues while serving as the backup to No.1 netminder Thatcher Demko for head coach Rick Tocchet, posting a 2.74 GAA and .908 save percentage in 16 appearances (7-3-5) so far this season.
