Sam Montembeault was resilient between the pipes for the Canadiens Saturday, stopping 35 of 38 shots faced in a 3-2 loss to the Stars.
Fantasy Impact:
Montembeault has been a victim of a lack of defensive support of late, facing at least 30 shots in each of his last nine games (5-3-1), allowing three or more goals in six of those nine contests for the Canadiens. The netminder continues to carry the torch for a Montreal squad that continues to struggle to support the talented 27-year-old, posting a .908 save percentage and 3.06 GAA in 25 appearances (12-8-4) in the crease so far this season.
