Kane will return to the Red Wings lineup after missing the last seven games, joining the club’s second line alongside David Perron and J.T. Compher while also likely seeing time on the second power-play unit for head coach Derek Lalonde as he shakes the rust off. The winger has been a dynamic offensive weapon for the Red Wings, tallying 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 19 games so far this season.
