Alexandar Georgiev allowed two goals on 29 shots faced in an Avalanche' 2-1 overtime loss to the Rangers Monday night.

Georgiev has struggled between the pipes of late, allowing three or more goals in eight of his last 12 starts (8-3-1) for the Avalanche. The netminder continues to fight through inconsistent stretches in the crease while being bailed out by an elite Colorado offense most nights, posting an .899 save percentage and 2.88 GAA in 42 appearances (27-11-3) in net so far this season.
