Casey DeSmith allowed three goals on 33 shots faced in the Penguins' 3-2 loss to the Stars Thursday night.

DeSmith has been steady in the crease of late for the Penguins, allowing three goals or less in each of his last five starts (2-2-0, .904 save percentage) for the club. The backup netminder has given fantasy owners inconsistent results for much of the season, carrying a 3.11 GAA and .907 save percentage in 35 appearances (13-15-4) between the pipes so far this season.
