Vladimir Tarasenko traded to Rangers

The St. Louis Blues have traded Vladimir Tarasenko and Niko Mikkola to the New York Rangers in exchange for Sammy Blais, Hunter Skinner, a conditional 2023 first-round pick, and a conditional 2024 fourth-round pick per Frank Seravelli. (Frank Seravelli on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Tarasenko gives the Rangers another bonafide goal scorer as the club attempts to sneak into a wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. The 31-year-old will benefit from a much more fantasy-friendly system under head coach Gerard Gallant, posting just 29 points (10 goals, 19 assists) in 38 games so far this season.
