Vitek Vanecek was strong between the pipes for the Devils Friday night, stopping 33 of 35 shots faced in a 3-2 overtime win over the Stars.

Vanecek continues a strong stretch in net of late for the Devils, allowing three goals or less in 10 consecutive starts (9-1-0, .931 save percentage) for the club. The 27-year-old netminder is a big reason for New Jersey's impressive start to the season, carrying a 2.29 GAA and .917 save percentage in 32 appearances (21-5-2) in net so far this season.
