Erik Kallgren stellar between pipes Saturday against Penguins
by Chris Schommer | Sun, Nov 27th 1:13pm EST
Erik Kallgren was stellar between the pipes for the Maple Leafs Saturday night, stopping 25 of 26 shots faced in a 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Fantasy Impact:
Kallgren was stout in the crease against a formidable Penguins club, posting a .962 save percentage and looking every bit the goaltender that surprised many in 2021-22 in Toronto. The 26-year-old will look to use Saturday night as a confidence boost, struggling as the backup behind current No. 1 goaltender Matt Murray, posting an .898 save percentage and 2.67 GAA in 10 games (3-2-4) so far this season.
