Erik Kallgren to start Thursday versus Sharks

Fantasy Impact:
With Matt Murray on injured reserve, Kallgren will get some reps as Ilya Samsonov's backup for the next few weeks. He made 14 appearances with the team last season, posting a 3.31 GAA and .888 Sv%. He's made one start for the Maple Leafs this season, yielding three goals on just 18 shots in a losing effort against the Coyotes on Oct. 17. With Samsonov playing well, Kallgren will see limited time in the Leafs' crease.
